Oct 10 1988 – Tom leads the sing-a-long at Trinity United Church with ‘Morning has broken.’

March 8th 2010 – Crabby Joe’s Woodstock, ON with The Absolute Beginners (Recorded via tape deck) Left to right, Stan on guitar, Tom on Vox. I'm shut out because I had my lyrics in front of me. Who doesn't use a teleprompter these days. The judges were the real losers.

March 23rd 2010 – The Groove Kitchen, Cambridge, ON, with The Absolute Beginners (Recorded) These guys were totally awesome and made us feel we could go anywhere. We have never gotten that kind of support in Woodstock, who like to frown down on their own, unless they've made it somewhere else first, then your cool!

Aug 25th 2011 - Beer Tent, Woodstock Fair, ON, Witness for the Prosecution. Most recent gig with Stan V. Antone.

Nov 27th 2011 - The 3rd Author's Book Fair in Port Dover, ON. Thom sang three selections from his poetry and lyric book, 'Carnal Wreckage.' He turned some heads when he sang the songs 'A-Capella.' This was the same book that earned him his first published review in a newspaper. Thom had wanted to sing from this book the previous year, but he was so afraid of the opinion of his then girlfriend, and he just couldn't do it. This was the first time (and last) that another person had influenced whether Tom could sing or not. In October 1987 Tom couldn't sing in front of his poetry class, but this was more of a confidence issue with a group, as opposed to a single person who should have supported him.

Nov 4th  2017 - The Gunner's Club, Lower Level, Brantford, ON. The Country Cousins with Michael Winegarden. Tom sang two originals, 'Stained,' and 'Stand On It.' At this time Thom was told by an audience member to "Stick to writing, singing is definitely not your thing." Thom did not take their advice. The best part is that Thom was 100% supported by his partner Bernice Marcotte, and still is to this day!

Nov 10th 2017 - The St. George Legion, Tom sat in with Dave Souliere and sang "The City Of New Orleans" and "Five Hundred Miles." Definitely a better night than the Gunner's Club.  Dave Souliere is a wonderful person and Tom wishes he had listened to him more.

August 13th 2023 - Thom Ryerson & The Carving Knife play an acoustic/electric set at the Richmond Tavern, 370 Richmond Street, London, ON. Thom's wife Bernice runs the merch table. It's the first time in 12 years that Thom and Stan have played on the same stage together. Hopefully more to come.
