Owen want to go viral on YouTube and
we need your help big time! We have begun a Indiegogo campaign in order to raise $3,000 to shoot a professionally
directed and edited music video for our hit, 'Slacker Anthem.' The song will
feature all four current members of Owen, their family, friends and pets, and up
to fifteen lucky Indiegogo contributors as well.
Contributors to the Indiegogo
campaign will earn perks for their hard earned dollars! We don’t mind
giving just a little bit! From MP3’s of the new CD, to vinyl records in white
sleeves and also cardboard sleeves with lyrics; and a much coveted spot in the
video.
The Indiegogo campaign closes on
September 18th, and whatever we have raised at that point will be
used for the video which will be released in October/November 2014. The video
will be shot by RedCat Films of London, ON. Any excess will be invested in band
equipment and a second video.
We hope have a Video release party
in Woodstock in October/November 2014 with a live set of music performed by the
almighty Owen! Ody’s is our choice place to play live. These are indeed exciting
times in which we live!
